For all other services such as physiotherapy or counselling a referral is not required

No. Our doctors are available by appointment only. For emergencies call 911 or visit your nearest emergency department. For other routine medical concerns contact your family doctor or call 811

We do not provide primary care at ACHA. Our physicians act as consultants to your primary care provider.

There is free 2 hour parking for patients.

You need to register your license plate number at the parking kiosk in the building atrium.

The parking app does not have the option for the free parking.

All consultations and follow-up assessments with physicians at ACHA are publicly funded through Alberta Health. There is no cost to the patient.

Completion of medical forms by a physician may be subject to a fee.

Missed appointments with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a fee.

We have many patients waiting for appointments. No-shows or missed appointments negatively affect wait times and can delay access to care for 1-4 other patients depending on the length of appointment.

Please call to cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

Patients who miss a confirmed appointment may be charged up to $250.00 based on the length of appointment.
